Unfortunately, contractors like to advertise Hardie Board siding as "maintenance free," but it's just not true. The truth is that even the most high quality paints only last 10-12 years. Hardie Board siding needs to be repainted every 10-15 years.

If you've got wood siding, we recommend a repaint every 3-7 years.
